Bridge and Target training complements and improves
the efficiency of the animal training techniques;
Lure, Reward, Clicker Training, Relaxation, etc.
The goal of this workshop is to cover the theory and practice of Bridge and Target training; that the participants will go away with the knowledge of using the Bridge & Target training in behaviour rehabilitation work as well as in teaching different dog disciplines such as obedience, agility and freestyle.
The participants will work on the following aspects on Bridge and Target training:
Establishing Bridges through Classical and Operant Conditioning,
The Roles and Communicative Traits of the Bridge and
Using Bridges to Extend Desirable Behaviours.
Types and Roles of Targets and Target Hierarchy,
Teaching Targets
Using Targets to Initiate, Extend and Change Behaviours by the Dogs.
Attila accumulated the knowledge of using bridges and targets in different dog disciplines and combined this with his behaviour rehabilitation and training techniques to develop his Bridge-Target-Barrier training program.
